Merit-Based Scholarships

For Students Who Lead with Their Mind and Character

We’ve met students whose transcripts tell part of the story—but whose discipline, consistency, and curiosity say even more. At Africa Renewal University, we offer merit-based scholarships to recognize that kind of excellence—academic strength backed by integrity, commitment, and service.

These scholarships are for students who don’t just perform well in class, but who show up, contribute, and live out the values we hold close as a university.

Who Can Apply?

incoming Students

  • Scored at least 13 points at A-Level

  • Show promise not only in academics but in leadership and service

Continuing Students:

  • Hold a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or above

  • Have no retakes in the previous semester

  • Actively engage in class, leadership roles, and AfRU community life

This isn’t just about marks—it’s about consistency, attitude, and showing up with purpose.

What’s Covered

  • Scholarships cover up to 100% of tuition

  • Awards are renewable every semester as long as you maintain the required academic and character standards

We check in each semester to ensure recipients are staying the course—not just academically, but in the way they carry themselves around campus.
