The Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) at Africa Renewal University is uniquely tailored to address today’s most pressing health challenges, including emerging and re-emerging diseases. This innovative four-year program incorporates specialized courses such as Disease Surveillance and Outbreak Investigation, One Health, Participatory Public Health Approaches, Food Safety, and Biosecurity.

Program Entry Requirements

For International Students:

  • A high school diploma or certificate that qualifies for admission to a degree program in your home country.

For Ugandan Students:

  • Direct Entry Scheme:
    • Uganda Certificate of Education (O’ Level) with a minimum of five (5) passes.
    • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (A’ Level) with at least two principal passes (preferably in subjects like Mathematics, Biology, Food and Nutrition, Physics, Economics, Geography, or Entrepreneurship) obtained in one sitting.
    • Applicants from the 8-4-4 system must have a grade of C+ or its equivalent, along with UCE and UACE or their equivalents.
  • Diploma Holder Entry Scheme:
    • A relevant diploma with an upper second or higher from an institution recognized by the National Council for Higher Education.
  • Mature Age Entry Scheme:
    • A minimum score of 50% in the Mature Age Examination, certified by a recognized center.
