The program has been designed to suit the high demand of Education professionals and experts to provide quality services in the education sector. The programme will therefore provide integrated training in planning organizing and managing the education sector, and also provide students with appropriate knowledge, skills and competencies in education service delivery, educational systems management, Education planning and policy making promotion while continuing to promote moral integrity, traditional values and culture.
The objectives of this programme are to:
1. Introduce the learners to the concepts and principles of education
2. Equip the learners with the skills and knowledge in strategic education planning, and management of educational organizations and systems.
3. Explore the essential foundations to education and its change, and in view of this have them explore practical case studies in contemporary issues that justify innovations in education.
4. Study the theoretical and practical knowledge of designing, developing and implementing educational programs.
5. Study the various theories and models of teaching and learning and their implications for teaching and learning in Uganda and elsewhere.
6. Prepare learners for lifelong learning.
