The Bachelor of Business Computing (BBC) at Africa Renewal University is a dynamic program that integrates business management with cutting-edge information technology. This multidisciplinary degree is designed to prepare students to become visionary business leaders, effective managers, and innovative entrepreneurs who can excel in the fast-changing global business and technology landscape.

Through a comprehensive curriculum that blends business disciplines such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Entrepreneurship with core IT subjects like Databases, Programming, and Computer Networks, students gain a well-rounded education.

In their third year, students specialize in one of the following areas with a focus on IT integration:

  5. Finance and Insurance

Program Entry Requirements

  • A high school diploma or certificate that qualifies for admission to a degree program in your home country.

For Ugandan Students:

  • Direct Entry Scheme:
    • Uganda Certificate of Education (‘O’ Level) with a minimum of five (5) passes.
    • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (‘A’ Level) with at least two principal passes (preferably in Mathematics, Economics, or Entrepreneurship) obtained in one sitting.
    • Applicants from the 8-4-4 system must have a CGPA of 2.8 from a Higher Education Certificate.
  • Diploma Holder Entry Scheme:
    • A relevant diploma with an upper second or credit from an institution recognized by the National Council for Higher Education.
  • Mature Age Entry Scheme:
    • A minimum score of 50% in the Mature Age Examination certified by a center recognized by the National Council for Higher Education.
