Preparing Students for Purposeful Work and Real-World Impact
At Africa Renewal University, we understand that a degree alone isn’t enough. That’s why we offer structured, values-driven support to help students gain real-world experience, develop professional networks, and transition confidently into the workforce or ministry.
Through strategic partnerships, mentorship programs, and career readiness activities, AfRU is committed to developing graduates who are competent, ethical, and career-ready.
Internship Placement Support
Every AfRU student is required to complete an internship before graduation. The University actively supports this process by forming formal partnerships with organizations that align with the student’s area of study.
- Formal MOUs with Employers: AfRU signs memoranda of understanding with select partner institutions to ensure our students are placed in relevant, high-quality internships. These MOUs are signed by the Vice Chancellor on behalf of the University and the Chief Executive Officer of the partner organization.
- University-Facilitated Placements: AfRU takes responsibility for organizing and overseeing the placements to ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Accommodation and Support: Some partners, like Yumbe Regional Referral Hospital, provide housing and meals to interns at no cost.
