Who We’re Looking For
AfRU offers a limited number of tuition scholarships to international students who:
- Have been accepted into an academic program at AfRU
- Can demonstrate financial need
- Show a clear commitment to serving their community or region
We especially encourage applications from students in countries where access to higher education is limited.
Priority Countries Include
- South Sudan
- Burundi
- Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
- Other underserved regions across Africa
If your home country isn’t listed here, you can still apply. What matters most is your story, your need, and your sense of purpose.
What the Scholarship Covers
- Up to 100% of tuition
- Possible accommodation support, reviewed on a case-by-case basis
This is not a handout. It’s a belief in your potential, and an investment in the change you’re capable of creating.
How to Apply
You’ll need to submit:
- Proof of academic qualifications and at least one reference
- A motivation letter explaining why AfRU, why now, and how you hope to serve after your studies
- A copy of your passport or national ID
You don’t need perfect English or polished writing—just your honest voice and clear intention.
