About the School
The School of Humanities & Social Sciences (SHSS) at Africa Renewal University prepares students to become leaders, advocates, educators, and social agents of change. Grounded in biblical values and driven by a commitment to justice, human dignity, and service, the school offers programs that explore human behavior, education, social structures, development, and community transformation.
Whether you’re called to teach, serve in social work, or lead community-based organizations, SHSS offers the academic depth and practical experience to prepare you for that mission.
Our approach is interdisciplinary—drawing from theology, psychology, education, and development studies—to form graduates who think critically, communicate clearly, and engage compassionately.
