Servant Leadership Scholarships

For Students Who Lead by Serving

Some students lead from the front. Others lead quietly, behind the scenes—mentoring younger kids in church, organizing community clean-ups, or helping rebuild when a storm knocks everything down.

AfRU’s Servant Leadership Scholarship exists to recognize students who live this kind of life—not for attention, but because they believe in transformation that starts with showing up and giving back.

Who Should Apply

This scholarship is open to students who can clearly show:

  • A track record of volunteering or leadership in their community, school, church, or mission field

  • Strong references from people who’ve seen their commitment—like a pastor, supervisor, or local leader

You don’t need a title. You just need a history of stepping up when something needs doing.

What’s Covered

  • Up to 50% of tuition fees
  • Renewable each semester depending on continued engagement and academic progress

It’s not about perfection. It’s about consistency, humility, and being a student who serves with purpose.
