Mr. Samuel Richard Onyait
Director Quality Assurance
Mr. Onyait serves as the Director of Quality Assurance at Africa Renewal University. He is a PhD candidate in Theology/Missions at Alphacrucis University College, Sidney Australia, with a research interest on the role of the church in holistic community transformation /development. He currently holds an MA in International Development from Eastern University, USA; a postgraduate diploma in community- based development from Nkumba University, Entebbe, Uganda and a BA in Bible and Theology from Pan Africa Christian College, Nairobi Kenya.
He has over twenty years of service in higher education as a lecturer, academic dean and a quality assurance practitioner with experience in teaching, curriculum development, academic policy development, faculty leadership and higher education quality assurance. With an interdisciplinary background in theology and development, Samuel combines the unique attributes from these disciplines to inform his research and teaching interests focused on transformational development, transformational leadership and worldviews and development. Besides academia, Samuel is also involved in Christian ministry with Watoto Church Bweyogerere as a facilitator in discipleship and market place ministry.
Samuel is married to Suzan and together have five children: Barnabas, Timothy, Paul, Charity, and Nissi.
