Ps. Renson Kaluma Mwawasi
Director Community Life
Renson serves as Director of Community Life at Africa Renewal University. He is also the Chaplain of Africa Renewal University overseeing all the spiritual activities of the university. Renson serves also as the Business Development manager of the University and currently heads the facilities and Infrastructural development department. He also overseer the university farm. Previously he has served as a recruitment officer and was charged with recruiting students and marketing the university. He also served as a campus Pastor.
He is a PhD (Management) candidate at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration International Business (Finance and Accounting). He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology (Missions and Intercultural Studies) from Ndejje University.
Renson is a Pastor and Team leader of Renewal Church Buloba, and also a pastoral staff at Gaba Community Church. Renewal church brings together Buloba community and the students body under one roof on Sunday. The church is fast growing and getting established. Renson is also an Overseer of Buloba Child development project serving over 300 children from the community with education and spiritual guidance. Renson is also a board member of BCM Africa, a global ministry with branches all over the world including Uganda. He is also a professional banker and trained in banking and financial services. He has worked in the banking sector for over 5 years.
Renson is the current chair of the Graduation committee and has successful organized all graduation ceremonies since 2014. He has chaired different Adhoc and select committees of the University like disciplinary, privatization of the kitchen services and others.
He is married to Caroline Emmy Mwawasi and they are blessed with four Children. Emmanuel, Glory, Victorious Joella.
